Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter and producer YONAH releases debut album ‘Bird of Miracles’

Yonah made his debut album release last week with his album 'Bird Of Miracles', a release which immediately highlights him as a fresh, compelling voice in contemporary music. Yonah's artistry is an interesting blend of youthful maturity, combining raw emotional honesty with sophisticated songwriting. The album itself explores themes of identity, faith, loss and personal growth, taking the listeners on an introspective journey.

"Bird Of Miracles" has a lot going on in the sound department. It mixes an indie sound with experimental, layered instrumentation to make a vast soundscape where Yonah can show how he feels. The heavy use of stripped-back guitar lets the New Yorker's voice shine through, giving it the space to ring out with full conviction and clarity.

Yonah dedicates his work to his late father, sharing,

“This album is an ode to my father, a way of saying goodbye to my childhood, embracing adulthood, and accepting the man I’m becoming,” he shares. “I was always rebellious growing up, pushing back against religion, God, and the institutions I was raised in. It’s taken time, but I’ve come to love and respect where I come from, and I carry a deep gratitude for my father and the values he instilled in me. Religious or not, I owe my life to him, and the only way I can move forward is by blessing the past.”

This shining vulnerability is what sets Birds of Miracles apart. Yonah’s ability to channel complex emotion and subject matter into his artform creates an album which feels intimate and universal. The production of this record paired with its blooming artistic expression is why Yonah is an artist to look out for.

This is a bold debut that traps the feeling of growing up, grief and finding peace and belonging in the world's chaos, offering itself to listeners as a soundtrack for going through life's complexities and it does it with both grace and courage.

For those craving fresh, authentic voices in indie music, Yonah's debut is an essential.
